Cardinal signs are the most dominate signs of astrology. Every one of the signs are at the first of their season so of course they play a leading role. Aries is the first fire sign, the most aggressive and has the most 'leader like' qualities of the fire signs and of astrology (It's the first sign of astrology) Cancer is the first water sign and the most dominate water sign by being the most motherly. Libra is not the first air, although it is the only one to land on the begining of a season and the only sign of astrology to be portrayed by an inanimate object. It is known for a somewhat bossy nature, and is the most outgoing of the air signs. Capricorn is not the first earth sign, but once again lads on the beginning of a season. It is known for being quiet bossy and self centered. Capricorn is a work based sign and is known for being 'super boss'.
These are the Cardinal signs of astrology. These signs have the most leader like qualities of astrology and are known for 'setting plans in motion'. A cardinal sign is simply a sign with a more dominate way of achieving it's goal. So if you are a cardinal sign, don't be afraid to show your leadership qualities. The world needs it.
